Deep groove ball bearings are the most commonly used type of rolling bearings. In addition to radial forces, they can also absorb axial and combined forces and are particularly suitable for high speeds. Deep groove ball bearings cannot be disassembled and only allow a small tilting angle.

Dimensions and Tolerances
The boundary dimensions of the bearings are standardised in ISO 15, DIN 616, and DIN 625-1. ALPHA Wälzlager GmbH supplies deep groove ball bearings with normal tolerance (PN) in accordance to DIN 620-2 and ISO 492. Please contact our technical department to check the availability of bearings with improved accuracy class or special tolerances.
Radial Internal Clearance
ALPHA deep groove ball bearings are supplied in normal clearance (CN) in accordance with DIN 620-4 and ISO 5753-1, but they are also available in all clearance classes with restricted clearance or increased clearance.
